Arguably the NHL's greatest Norwegian player ever, he is a creative passer who uses a long stick to his advantage, helping to make up for the fact that he is one of the smallest players in the NHL. He is also excellent in shootouts. His lack of size leaves him vulnerable to injuries and to wearing down over the course of a long season. Is an outstanding complement for a shoot-first linemate.
